Kirchtag in Mitterolang (Valdaora di Mezzo Festival)

The 2025 edition of the Kirchtag in Mitterolang reaffirmed Valdaora di Mezzo's deep connection to its traditions. At Park Mitterolang, the Musikkapelle Peter Sigmair Olang enlivened the two days of celebration: on Saturday with the raising of the Kirchtagmichl tree and the convivial opening, and on Sunday with a solemn procession and a grand folk parade through the village streets, featuring horsemen, decorated floats, groups in Tyrolean costumes, and brass bands. The festival concluded with concerts and culinary specialties in the park, drawing residents and tourists alike into the heart of the Puster Valley.
