Keschtnriggl 2025
The 2025 edition of the Keschtnriggl was held from October 19 to November 2 in the municipalities of Lana, Foiana/Völlan, and Tesimo-Prissiano, in the Merano region (South Tyrol). The highlight was the Keschtnfestl in Foiana on Sunday, October 19, from 11 am to 6 pm, featuring live music, a farmers' market, traditional crafts, and numerous chestnut-based specialties.
In the following weeks, the program offered guided walks through the autumn-colored chestnut groves, roving tastings, and themed evenings at participating inns and restaurants, which served special chestnut-focused menus paired with South Tyrolean wines and the tradition of Törggelen.
