Keschtnigl-Wochen / Velturno Chestnut Weeks

In 2025, the Keschtnigl-Wochen in Velturno reached their 28th edition, running from October 18 to November 9. For three weeks, the village in the province of Bolzano offered a rich autumn program: an autumn market with traditional products, guided Törggelen-themed hikes with stops at local taverns, tastings of chestnut-based dishes, and walks dedicated to children among the village's approximately 3,300 chestnut trees. The event concluded with the traditional Sunday festival, the Keschtnigl-Sunntig, featuring roasted chestnuts and South Tyrolean specialties.
