Keila Kirschta (Keiler Kirchtag)

The 2025 edition of the Keila Kirschta (Keiler Kirchtag) took place on September 27 and 28, 2025, in Colle, in the municipality of Valle di Casies/Gsies, South Tyrol. The patronal feast followed the usual ritual: on Saturday afternoon, the raising of the Kirschtamichl, followed by a convivial evening with live music under the tent. On Sunday, after the morning Frühschoppen, the grand festive parade took place with the transhumance (Almabtrieb), cows adorned with garlands, decorated floats, and brass bands marching through the village, amidst Tyrolean specialties and a children's program. A weekend that confirmed the Keila Kirschta as one of the most authentic festivals in the Val Casies.
