Edition 2025 — Keep Calm

In 2025, the theatre offering of the Pro Loco of San Carlo Canavese was entrusted to PalcoProLoco, the historic autumn festival of plays in Piedmontese accompanied by the traditional Bagna Caoda evening. The Italian-language festival Keep Calm had not yet been created: it debuts only in 2026 as a new spring-summer chapter of local popular theatre.

In 2025, popular theatre in San Carlo Canavese had its reference point in PalcoProLoco, the autumn festival of plays in Piedmontese organized by the Pro Loco, which has become part of the town's cultural identity in the Canavese area near Turin.

The Keep Calm – Italian Language Theatre format did not exist yet in 2025: it was created as a 2026 novelty to accompany the autumn dialect comedies with a new offering in Italian during the warmer season. The tradition of local amateur theatre companies and the community's love for theatre provided the fertile ground for this evolution.
