Kathreine Markt - Saint Catherine's Market in Mühlen in Taufers

The 2025 edition of the Kathreine Markt took place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, starting at 8:00 AM in the center of Mühlen in Taufers, a village in Sand in Taufers (South Tyrol). Once again, the Saint Catherine's market offered a wide selection of goods — from clothing to sweets, footwear to gardening tools — alongside stalls featuring farm products from the Taufers and Ahrn valleys: alpine cheese, speck, honey, and cured meats.

To complete the day, there were the essential roasted chestnuts, mulled wine, and traditional sweet specialties, with folk music, accordion players, and Schuhplattler groups enlivening the village center, keeping alive a centuries-old custom that marks the beginning of Advent in the Tauferer Ahrntal.
