Katharinawoche / St. Catherine's Week

The 2025 edition of the Katharinawoche in Sluderno/Schluderns renewed a fifteen-year tradition, bringing about ten days of cultural events to the village dedicated to St. Catherine of Alexandria, the community's patron saint. The calendar, curated by the local Bildungsausschuss, featured concerts, nativity scene exhibitions, book presentations, workshops, and entertainment evenings in the Kulturhaus and throughout the village.

The heart of the week was the Katharinamarkt, the traditional market with organic and typical Vinschgau Valley products, gastronomy, and live music, held on the Saturday before the patronal feast. On November 25th, St. Catherine's Day, the event concluded with the solemn Kirchtag mass in the parish church and the traditional Kirchtagsfest in the Kulturhaus, featuring a typical lunch and music.
