Kastelruther Spatzenfest 2025

From October 10 to 12, 2025, the Tirlerhof in Castelrotto/Kastelruth hosted a new, highly attended edition of the Kastelruther Spatzenfest, confirming the event as one of the largest Volksmusik gatherings in Europe. Under the packed marquee, the Kastelruther Spatzen led three days of Alpine folk music in front of tens of thousands of spectators.

The event was hosted by Stefan Mross. Guests at the 2025 edition included artists such as Ramon Roselly, Laura Wilde, Alexander Rier, and the Franz Bauer Ensemble, along with numerous traditional Tyrolean folk groups. The customary Sunday Frühschoppen, autograph sessions, and the warm festive atmosphere that transforms Castelrotto into the capital of Alpine folk music every October were all part of the experience.
