Kastelruther Krampuslauf (Krampus Parade)

The 7th Krampus Parade of Castelrotto

The 7th edition of the Kastelruther Krampuslauf took place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in the center of Castelrotto/Kastelruth. Approximately 52 Krampus groups, totaling about 1,000 Tuifl from South Tyrol, Trentino, Austria, and Switzerland, brought the village streets to life.

Festivities began at 2:00 PM with music, food, hot drinks, and the festive atmosphere of the Christmas market. At 5:00 PM, the grand parade departed from the middle school, traveling along Paniderstraße and through the center to the performance stage at the intersection with Dolomitenstraße, where the groups performed until approximately 7:00 PM. Organized by the Kastelruther Tuifl association, the 2025 edition confirmed the event as one of the most spectacular in South Tyrol.
