On Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the center of Castelbello came alive with the garden and gourmet market. On the gourmet island, set up in the parking area, local producers offered fine wines, cheeses, speck, cured meats, honey, spirits, juices, aloe vera products, and Castelbello asparagus, accompanied by local craftsmanship: wood turning, baskets, ceramics, bags, decorations, and floral arrangements.
From 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM, the plant exchange market was held, where visitors could drop off labeled plants, bulbs, and cuttings. From 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, gardening expert Andreas Modery offered short lectures and consultations on natural soil care, climate-appropriate plants, pests, and seasonal trends. The family program featured bird feeder construction with Ludwig Gamper at the music pavilion, face painting, and a children's flea market organized by VKE Kastelbell-Tschars. Local associations managed the catering with regional specialties.
