Edition 2025 — Kastanienfest Gruppo Alpini

The 2025 edition of the Kastanienfest of the Gruppo Alpini of Marlengo was held on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at the village's Vereinshaus (Culture House). True to the South Tyrolean Törggelen tradition, the chestnut festival offered roasted chestnuts, new wine, and traditional dishes, accompanied by live musical entertainment during an afternoon of celebration organized by the Alpini.

In 2025, the Gruppo Alpini of Marlengo renewed its autumn chestnut festival tradition on Sunday, October 26, at the village's Vereinshaus (Culture House) in the province of Bolzano.

As per the Törggelen tradition, the festival featured roasted chestnuts, new wine, and traditional South Tyrolean peasant dishes, along with live musical entertainment. It was a convivial afternoon that reaffirmed the role of the Gruppo Alpini in the life of the municipality of Marlengo, in the Merano Burgraviato area.
