Edition 2025 — Karawan Fest

The 13th edition of Karawan Fest took place from July 9 to 16, 2025, at Parco Giordano Sangalli in Tor Pignattara in Tor Pignattara, Rome. With the theme "Mutations," the festival explored the personal, social, and cultural transformations of our time, proposing an international feature film competition and a national short film competition, as well as meetings, shows, and workshops for all ages.

Karawan Fest 2025 — "Mutations"

The thirteenth edition of Karawan Fest, hosted from July 9 to 16, 2025, in the Parco Giordano Sangalli of Tor Pignattara, Rome, chose "Mutations" as its guiding thread: an exploration of the personal, social, and cultural transformations that cross our lives in a world in constant change.

The program offered two competitive sections, dedicated to international feature films and Italian short films, for a total of fifteen films. The opening night hosted the Italian premiere of Arzé by Mira Shaib, while the closing was entrusted to La mafia uccide solo d'estate by Pif, selected by students from the neighborhood's L2 Italian centers. Accompanying the screenings were comedy shows, meetings with authors, book presentations, and Karawan Extra workshops.
