Edition 2025 — June 2nd Parade

In 2025, Rome once again celebrated Republic Day on June 2nd with a solemn military parade along the Via dei Fori Imperiali, the ceremony at the Altare della Patria in honor of the Unknown Soldier, and the customary Frecce Tricolori flyover in the capital's sky, before the highest state officials and thousands of citizens.

Republic Day 2025

On June 2, 2025, the nation's primary civic ritual was renewed in Rome. The morning opened with the tribute to the Unknown Soldier at the Altare della Patria, followed by the military parade along the Via dei Fori Imperiali with the participation of the Armed Forces and State Corps. The traditional Frecce Tricolori flyover concluded the review, while throughout the day, state museums in Rome and the Lazio region opened to the public for free, confirming the event as one of the most deeply felt identity moments in the Italian civic calendar.
