Edition 2025 — June 2nd in Forano
The 79th anniversary of the Republic
The 2025 edition of the June 2nd Celebration in Forano, in the province of Rieti, followed the traditional format that the Municipality proposes every year: an outdoor civic ceremony shared with the students of the Primary School, featuring the flag-raising, the performance of the national anthem, and the reading of articles of the Constitution by the children.
The Forano anniversary was part of the broader framework of celebrations for the 79th anniversary of the founding of the Republic organized in the province of Rieti, with official ceremonies in the capital at Piazza Cesare Battisti and the parade of the municipal banners. In Forano, as in previous years, the emphasis was placed on the educational and community dimension of the festival, rather than on institutional solemnity.
The event, with free admission, confirmed June 2nd as one of the most heartfelt civic moments in the town's annual calendar, in the Bassa Sabina, Lazio.
