Ju Buk Festival 2025 - 5th edition

The fifth edition of the Ju Buk Festival brought three days of intense meetings to Peschici, in Piazza Sant'Antonio, from July 28 to 30, 2025, before doubling up in Scanno (L'Aquila) from August 1 to 3, with a final event on August 6. The festival, directed by Eleonora de Nardis Giansante, chose as its guiding theme "The future? A journey into the past. Counter-information, participation, discussion. And women's literature".

The protagonists

Among the guests of the 2025 edition were Donatella Di Pietrantonio, winner of the 2024 Strega Prize, Nadia Terranova, finalist for the 2025 Strega Prize, Gabriella Genisi, Rossana Campo, and Francesca Palazzetti. The meetings addressed gender violence, reproductive rights, women's work, and social issues through literature, essays, and theatrical performances.

With the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and the Regions of Puglia and Abruzzo, the event confirmed the bond between the Gargano and the Abruzzo villages, with free admission.
