The urban and territorial adventure to discover the Marche region
Jesi Express is an original urban and territorial adventure format that starts every year from Jesi, in the heart of Vallesina, in the province of Ancona (Marche Region). Born from the idea of Radio Incredibile APS, the event transforms the territory into a grand live narrative made of games, discovery, mobility, and relationships, involving teams competing in a stage-based route through roads, villages, and cities.
For two consecutive days, teams face puzzles, creative challenges, cultural tests, and immersive routes that take them from one municipality to another. Each stage is a mix of teamwork, travel, and storytelling: participants must solve riddles, overcome on-site challenges, and discover the historical memory and landscape beauty of the places they visit. Radio Incredibile accompanies the adventure with high-level audio and video production, featuring dedicated content and podcasts for each stage.
The pulsating heart and historical center of the project is always Jesi, a walled art city known for its historic center and for being the birthplace of Frederick II of Swabia. From here, teams move towards other participating municipalities, which change from edition to edition: from the industrial and Montessori heritage of Chiaravalle to the underground passages and circular square of Camerata Picena, from the medieval village of Offagna dominated by its Rocca to the caves of Camerano in the Conero hinterland, and finally to Ancona, the gateway to the Adriatic. Previous editions have also included Ostra, Serra de' Conti, Senigallia, and Corinaldo.
Edition after edition, Jesi Express has seen an increase in the number of participating teams, the extension of the route, and the partners involved, attracting competitors from various Italian regions beyond the Marche. It has thus become one of the most original events of the Marche spring, capable of combining territorial promotion, village valorization, and team spirit in one great collective adventure.
The third edition of Jesi Express, titled 'Adriatic on the Horizon', was held on Saturday, May 16, and Sunday, May 17, 2026, organized by Radio Incredibile APS. It was the record edition for the format, both for the route extension and for the number of partners and participants.
15 teams from five Italian regions (Marche, Tuscany, Emilia-Romagna, Abruzzo, and Umbria) took part in the challenge. The adventure ideally started from Jesi, the historical center of the project, and then crossed Chiaravalle (with the legacy of Maria Montessori), Camerata Picena and its Castello del Cassero, the medieval village of Offagna with its Rocca, Camerano and its caves in the Conero hinterland, finally arriving in Ancona.
Two days of puzzles, creative challenges, and territorial discovery animated the involved municipalities, in a mix of teamwork, travel, and storytelling.
