Jazzflirt Festival 2025 — the 21st edition

In 2025, the Jazzflirt Festival occupied a large part of the summer in Formia, in the province of Latina, distributing its events from July 13 to August 28 at the Caposele Archaeological Area.

The opening, on July 13, was entrusted to the Greg Burk Quintet, led by the American pianist and composer who presented tracks from the album Simple Joys. On July 29, it was the turn of the Francesco Bearzatti Tinissima Quartet with X (Suite for Malcolm), a tribute to Malcolm X enriched by the projection of original illustrations. July 31 featured the young Turkish pianist Hakan Başar, one of the revelations of the European jazz scene.

The closing, on August 28, was reserved for the JazzFlirt Call for Artists: young local musicians selected for the creative residency performed an original project, with free admission.

Prices remained affordable: single ticket at 10 euros, subscription at 20 euros for the three July concerts, free entry for the final evening in August.
