Edition 2025 — Jazz Open Modena

In 2025, Jazz Open had not yet taken place in Modena: the event was actually scheduled in Stuttgart, its historic home for over thirty years. It was precisely during 2025 that the Municipality of Modena and Jazzopen Italia announced and prepared the festival's Italian arrival, set for July 2026, with the signing of a five-year agreement until 2030.

2025 was the year of preparation for the Italian debut of Jazz Open in Modena. The historic Stuttgart event, a European benchmark for great music, did not yet have its own edition in the Emilian capital: during the year, the first names of the lineup for the first Modena edition were announced, and the agreement between the Municipality of Modena and Jazzopen Italia was formalized, linking the festival to the city in Emilia-Romagna until 2030. The first actual edition was to be held from July 13th to 18th, 2026.
