Archery and Nature 2025, the third edition

On Sunday, August 31, 2025, Monteforte Cilento hosted the third edition of "Archery and Nature," the event through which the Arcieri Monteforte Association brings archery to the woods of the Cilento hinterland every year. The event, presented by president Giuseppe Mondelli, was announced as a day full of novelties, part of a broader program of projects and activities designed to promote the discipline and sports culture in the area.

A path of growth

The 2025 edition confirmed the trajectory of an organization born just a few years earlier and already capable of attracting archers from outside the region: in previous seasons, the Monteforte trails, over four kilometers long and with stations of varying difficulty, had attracted over fifty archers and some of the best Italian practitioners of historical archery and longbow. From this foundation, the leap in scale of the following year was born, when the event took on the form of the two-day Italy and Cilento Archers Gathering in the province of Salerno.
