Edition 2025 — Italian Sprint Rowing
In 2025, Lake Varese in Gavirate confirmed its role as a prime venue for Italian rowing, hosting national regattas and youth meetings on the racecourse managed by ASD Canottieri Gavirate, ahead of the debut of the Italian Sprint Championship in 2026.
During the 2025 season, Lake Varese and the Gavirate racecourse hosted national rowing regattas and training camps, confirming this basin's vocation for top-level rowing. ASD Canottieri Gavirate and the Federation prepared the ground for the 2026 debut of the Italian Sprint Championship over the 500-meter distance, in the province of Varese.
