Edition 2025 — Red Cross Festival of Carpineti

In the summer of 2025, the Italian Red Cross Festival of Carpineti returned to Parco Matilde, renewing the solidarity event of the Reggio Apennines. Two days of traditional cuisine, music, and ballroom dancing organized by the volunteers of the CRI Committee of Carpineti, Baiso, and Cerreto Laghi to raise funds to support emergency services and socio-health activities in the area.

The 2025 edition of the Carpineti Red Cross Festival took place at Parco Matilde, in the heart of the Apennine village in the Province of Reggio Emilia. As every year, Italian Red Cross volunteers offered traditional mountain dishes, from scarpazzone to tortelli to casagai, accompanied by evenings of ballroom dancing and entertainment for families.

The proceeds from the festival, which concluded with the usual charity lottery, were allocated to the initiatives of the local CRI Committee for the benefit of the communities of Carpineti, Baiso, and Cerreto Laghi.
