Italian Esperanto Congress

The 91st edition of the Italian Esperanto Congress was held in Salsomaggiore Terme from August 23 to 30, 2025, with the theme "Esperanto: The Right Language for Science." The congress, which changes city every year, brought together about 150 participants from 21 nations.

The program included conferences, workshops, courses, and exhibitions dedicated to linguistics, education, science, and intercultural dialogue. The evenings were enlivened by concerts, featuring artists such as the Franco-Occitan Jomo, Clarissa Sabatini, the Kazakh duo Ĵomart kaj Nataŝa, and Lucio Avitabile, as well as theatrical performances by Arno Lagrange and Mario Migliucci. The 2025 edition prepared the passing of the torch to the Gargano, where the congress would move in 2026 to Vico del Gargano.
