Edition 2025 — Italian Road Bowling Championship

In 2025, the Italian Championship of Road Bowling Pairs once again brought dozens of competing pairs from Marche and neighboring regions to Terre Roveresche in the Pesaro area. Organized by ASD Sangiorgese under the aegis of FIGeST, the event brought together enthusiasts of all ages along the roads of the Spicello hamlet, confirming the tradition of this popular sport in the Marche hinterland.

The 2025 edition of the Italian Championship of Road Bowling Pairs took place in the hamlet of Spicello di Terre Roveresche, a municipality in the Province of Pesaro-Urbino. Organized by ASD Sangiorgese and recognized by FIGeST, the event saw numerous pairs compete in men's, women's, and youth categories, along the country roads transformed into racecourses for the occasion.

Road bowling, or 'boccia alla lunga', remains one of the most beloved traditional sports in the Marche: a simple and popular game that attracts athletes and spectators every spring, renewing the bond between the communities of Terre Roveresche and their sporting heritage.
