The 2025 Absolute Championships at the PalaPellicone

The weekend of February 15-16, 2025, brought the entire Italian wrestling community to Ostia, in the Municipality of Rome. The PalaPellicone at the FIJLKAM Olympic Center hosted about 350 athletes competing in the three Olympic disciplines.

The first day was dedicated to Greco-Roman and women's wrestling, while the second focused on men's freestyle. Alongside well-known national team names like Abraham Conyedo, Emanuela Liuzzi, and Aurora Russo, numerous young athletes stood out by winning their first absolute title.

Team rankings

In men's freestyle, the Gruppo Lottatori Livornesi finished in first place with 48 points, ahead of the Gruppo Sportivo Esercito (30) and Piroddu Extreme (23). In Greco-Roman, victory went to Borgo Prati with 45 points, followed by CUS Torino (36) and Fiamme Azzurre (26), while in women's wrestling, CUS Torino dominated with 48 points.
