Edition 2025 — It's Nothing
The debut in Macerata
The travelling exhibition It's Nothing opened on August 25, 2025, in vicolo Consalvi, in the historic centre of Macerata, and remained open until September 1. For a week, the alley became an open-air installation, with posters and dialect words in dialogue with urban lights and the historic centre's surroundings.
A participatory archive of dialect
The setup also included blank panels intended to collect dialect words and expressions from passers-by, to be included in a participatory archive dedicated to Marchigian dialects. The MarcheLove – WhatYouSay project, conceived by Studio Idee in Macerata, continued its travelling journey, visiting other locations in the region, such as the cloister of the former Franciscan convent in Pioraco, with a path that continues to combine contemporary art, dialect, and territorial identity.
