Isola d'Elba International Literary Prize – Raffaello Brignetti

The 2025 edition of the Brignetti Prize brought great Italian literature back to Portoferraio, on Elba Island. After the selection of the three finalists by the critical jury and the vote of the popular jury, the award for overall winner went to Sandro Veronesi, one of the most well-known voices in contemporary fiction. The ceremony was held in the usual setting of the Linguella Archaeological Area, overlooking the sea. The event enjoyed significant national media coverage, with reports on TGR Rai Toscana, TG2, and Studio Aperto, confirming the prestige achieved by the prize in the Italian cultural landscape.
