Iris Film Festival 2025 — the second edition
On Saturday, October 18, 2025, Poggio Catino hosted the second edition of the Iris Film Festival, the autumn showcase dedicated to quality short films conceived by Fabrizio Fazio and organized by Fabrizio Fazio Communications with the patronage of the Municipality.
The day took place from 2:30 PM to 8:00 PM in the Council Chamber of Palazzo Olgiati, at Piazza Capizucchi 1, the seat of the municipal administration. Sixteen short films chosen by the festival's internal jury were screened, with a deliberately transversal selection that alternated between comedy, thriller, drama, and forays into fantasy.
The event was hosted by Elena Rossetto. The day concluded with the awards ceremony, during which plaques were presented to the winners. Admission was free, subject to availability.
The edition confirmed the festival's bet: to bring auteur short cinema to a village in the Province of Rieti, in Lazio, offering viewers in the Sabina region an appointment that elsewhere is reserved for specialized cinemas in large cities.
