Iris and Craftsmanship Festival

The 2025 edition

The 2025 edition of the Iris and Craftsmanship Festival took place from October 29 to November 2 at Parco Angelo D'Arrigo in Pedara, in the province of Catania. For five days, from morning until late evening, visitors were able to enjoy iris pastries fried on the spot by master pastry chefs, in the classic variations of ricotta, chocolate, custard, hazelnut, and pistachio.

Alongside the star pastry, the traditional All Souls' Market offered artisan products, sweets, and regional specialties from the Etna area, while musical performances in the square and the parade of the Bersaglieri brass band enlivened the festivities. Free admission attracted numerous visitors from Catania and the surrounding Etna towns, confirming the festival as one of the traditional autumn events in Pedara.
