Edition 2025 — Ionian Half Marathon

The 16th edition of the Ionian Half Marathon took place on Sunday, January 26, 2025, in Gallipoli, a national FIDAL Bronze road race covering 21.097 km. The half marathon along the Ionian center and seafront saw Luca Quarta triumph in the men's race and Silvana Iania in the women's.

16th Ionian Half Marathon

The sixteenth edition of the Ionian Half Marathon was held on Sunday, January 26, 2025, in Gallipoli. It was a national road race classified as FIDAL Bronze, covering the classic 21.097 km distance on an official circuit. Organized by A.S.D. Atletica Gallipoli, the event brought the streets of the Salento center and the seafront overlooking the Ionian Sea to life.

Luca Quarta won the men's race, while Silvana Iania took victory in the women's category. In 2025, the race was once again accompanied by the promotional Stracittadina, confirming the format that blends competition and popular participation in the Municipality of Gallipoli, in the Province of Lecce.
