Iolanda Cappuccio – Three Muses Festival

The first edition of 2025

On August 30, 2025, Pisciotta hosted the inaugural evening of the Iolanda Cappuccio – Three Muses Festival, an evolution of the poetry prize that has remembered Iolanda Cappuccio for eighteen years. Alongside poetry, painting and photography were featured for the first time, with an exhibition of the competition works and a tribute to local painter Aniello Vecchio.

The evening, hosted by journalist Nicola De Feo and judged by a jury led by Gerardo Pinto, alternated readings, the presentation of the book L'avvocato brigante Giuseppe Tardio by Annamaria Pipolo, and a speech by director Aniello Fiorillo. Among the winners: Maria Mollo for the lyric section, Claudio Vecchione for poetry-prayer, Eugenio Sorrentino for photography, and Levitska Grazyna for painting, with Salvatore Damiano winning the painting competition.

The edition received the patronage of the Campania Region and the municipalities of Pisciotta, Piaggine, and Tremezzina, confirming the festival as one of the late-summer cultural highlights in Cilento.
