Invitation to Poetry – Festival of Cultures

The eighteenth edition of the Invitation to Poetry competition by the Associazione Poesia e Solidarietà took place in August 2025, with the usual awards ceremony in Trieste and the Festival of Cultures. The awards ceremony was followed by a day of poetry, folk music, dances, and storytelling in the garden of Villa Engelman, in collaboration with various city cultural organizations.

For 2025, the competition also confirmed its free formula open to all, as part of the Poetry and Solidarity – Language of Peoples project, which since 2000 has promoted poetry as a tool for peace and dialogue between peoples.
