The 2025 edition
The 27th Inventa un Film festival was held in Lenola (province of Latina, Lazio) from July 30 to August 3, 2025, organized by the Associazione Culturale Cinema e Società under the direction of Ermete Labbadia. The screenings took place at the Anfiteatro Marino De Filippis and the Cinema del Centro Polivalente Pietro Ingrao.
The call for entries had collected over 5,000 works from more than 150 nations. A preview evening, on June 27, 2025, had already awarded the Low Budget Awards: the technical jury had awarded Dolly make up by Giuliana Boni, Gli elefanti by Antonio Maria Castaldo, and Taste of India by Fabio Garofalo and Jacopo Santambrogio, while the popular jury had chosen Love and chewing gum by Arianna Di Stefano and Il limite by Miriam Previati.
During the summer evenings, the special awards 'Six awards in search of an author', 'Cinema is Woman', and the Italian festival Originality and Innovation Award were also presented, in addition to the awards for the short film, animation, minidoc, school, and music video sections.
