Edition 2025 — Cantamaggio of Montereggio
The 20th edition of the Interregional Cantamaggio Festival took place on Sunday, June 1, 2025, in Montereggio, the village that gave the festival its name and preserves its tradition. The event was attended by 18 'maggianti' groups from Liguria, Emilia-Romagna, and Tuscany, who performed in the streets and squares of the town, alternating songs, festivities, and moments of conviviality.
The twentieth-anniversary edition confirmed the deep bond between this event and the Apennine communities: a day of singing, memory, and identity that served as a bridge toward the 2026 edition, hosted the following year in the Rossano Valley, in the Municipality of Zeri.
