International "Sciara dell'Etna" Award

The fourth edition of the International "Sciara dell'Etna" Award took place in May 2025 at the prestigious Sala degli Specchi of the Giarre Town Hall. The edition celebrated excellence in various sectors, paying tribute to personalities in culture, science, communication, and music.

Among the awardees, Dr. Daniele Fulvio, a physicist and researcher at the Astrophysical Observatory of Catania (INAF-OACT), stood out, recognized for his commitment and merits in the field of scientific research. The event, promoted by the Amici della Musica e dell'Arte Association under the artistic direction of Gianvito De Salvo, was sponsored by the Sicilian Regional Assembly with the collaboration of the UNESCO Clubs of Taormina Valle dell'Alcantara, d'Agrò, and Giarre-Riposto, with the aim of promoting culture, historical memory, and new talents of the Etna territory.
