International Pole Vault Meeting Schlanders

The 21st edition of the pole vault meeting in Silandro/Schlanders confirmed the international stature of the Vinschgau event. Among the men, the Dutchman Menno Vloon prevailed with a height of 5.91 m, a new record for the event, ahead of the Turk Ersu Sasma (5.82 m) and the German Torben Blech (5.61 m).

In the women's field, victory went to the Brazilian Juliana de Menis Campos with 4.76 m, another meeting record, ahead of the Italian Elisa Molinarolo (4.55 m) and the South Tyrolean Nathalie Kofler (4.15 m). An evening of high-level performances that reaffirmed the role of Silandro/Schlanders among the best international competitions of the specialty.
