International Ocarina Festival

The twelfth edition of the Ocarina Festival confirmed the international dimension of the event, bringing together musicians and ensembles from three continents in Budrio. The opening, on Thursday, April 10, at the Teatro Consorziale, was entrusted to Elio with the world premiere of Le sottilissime astuzie di Bertoldo, a musical fairy tale that alternates comedy and reworked 17th-century music.

Among the highlights were the evening Ocarina Legends from the world featuring six ocarina ensembles from three continents, the Gran Gala dell'Ocarina with the Gruppo Ocarinistico Budriese and the Orchestra Giovanile BenTiVoglio, and the closing with Modena City Ramblers and the project Appunti Resistenti. The program was completed by round tables, conferences, and workshops dedicated to Budrio's iconic instrument.
