International Leonardo Sciascia Amateur d'Estampes Prize

The XI edition of the prize saw the participation of 27 international artists, selected by invitation with the advice of partner institutions. The Fabriano stop, set up at the Paper and Watermark Museum, exhibited the works in competition and those of the winners: first prize to Pavlo Makov (Ukraine), second to Katja Lang (Germany), and third to Wieslaw Haladaj (Poland), with special mentions to Kohei Wakatsuki (Japan), Chisanuphol Presanvorakitkool (Thailand), and Man Zhuang.

Councillor for Culture Maura Nataloni emphasized how the prize confirmed Fabriano's role as a benchmark for art graphics, in dialogue with its centuries-old paper-making tradition.
