International Jazz Day - Jazz & Swing in the Village

The 2025 edition of International Jazz Day was held in Buccheri, in the Iblei Mountains in the province of Syracuse, on April 30, 2025. The event, promoted by the Baciami Piccina Swing Band Musical Association with the patronage of the Municipality of Buccheri (Mayor Alessandro Caiazzo), joined the global celebration which in 2025 featured Abu Dhabi as the host of the global concert and involved over 190 countries.

The stage featured performances by the Baciami Piccina Swing Band, The Jazz Dudes, and the Revolution Blues Band, along with young singer and pianist Morgana Santini, winner of Sanremo Giovani and the Castrocaro Festival; the evening was presented by Sandro Vergato. President Silvana Cutrale recalled the importance of celebrating peace, cross-cultural dialogue, and respect for human rights through music.
