Edition 2025 — Jazz Day Empoli

In 2025, Empoli once again joined International Jazz Day, the global event dedicated to jazz held every April 30th. The Empoli Jazz Association hosted an evening in the city dedicated to music as a universal language, following the tradition of the UNESCO-sponsored event established in 2011 by Herbie Hancock.

The 2025 edition of the International Jazz Day in Empoli was part of the global calendar of International Jazz Day, celebrated every year on April 30th around the world. Promoted by the Empoli Jazz Association, a local organization participating in the UNESCO-sponsored initiative, the event brought an evening of improvisation, expressive freedom, and jazz as a tool for dialogue between cultures and peoples to the Municipality of Empoli, in the province of Florence.

As every year, the appointment confirmed Empoli Jazz's commitment to promoting high-quality live music, laying the groundwork for future editions of the day in the heart of the Tuscan city.
