International Jazz Day Alba

The 13th edition of the International Jazz Day in Alba was held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, under the usual artistic direction of Filippo Cosentino and organized by the Dragonfly Music Studio. The UNESCO World Jazz Day brought improvised music to the squares of the Langhe capital with a rich, free-admission program. The grand evening finale in Piazza Duomo featured pianist Umberto Petrin with his "Piano Solo - Jazz, Soul and other digressions".

The afternoon program: at 3:00 PM in Piazza Ferrero, the Piergiorgio Elia 4et; at 4:00 PM in Piazza Duomo, a guitar recital by Attilio Pisarri; at 5:00 PM in Piazza Garibaldi, Alessio Pamovio on electric piano with Patrizio Balzarini on drums; at 6:00 PM in the Cortile della Maddalena, the Venus Quartet; at 8:30 PM under the arcades of Piazza Duomo, the piano solo by Umberto Petrin.
