International Gnomes Festival

The 23rd edition of the International Gnomes Festival was held from July 25 to 27, 2025, in Roccaraso and on the Aremogna Plateau, in the Province of L'Aquila. A rich edition featuring 14 theatre companies and over 120 artists engaged in about thirty performances including dance, circus theatre, and environmental theatre.

The event opened on Friday, July 25, at 9:00 PM in Piazza Giovanni Leone with the free show Fuoco by the Compagnia dei Folli, a fantastic journey among mythological characters and heroes. Over the weekend, the Coppo dell'Orso beech forest hosted parades of gnomes and goblins, workshops for children, and evening shows immersed in the woods, confirming the event as one of the most anticipated summer appointments in the Abruzzo Alto Sangro region.
