International Folklore Meeting

The 47th edition of the International Folklore Meeting was held in Penna Sant'Andrea (Teramo) from August 1 to 3, 2025, starting on Friday at 5:00 PM and ending on Sunday late in the evening. Folk groups from Mexico, Poland, Croatia, and Colombia performed in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, bringing the village to life with dances, parades, and evening shows. The international performances were accompanied by Italian folk music concerts and moments dedicated to the Laccio d'Amore dance. The gastronomic aspect was not forgotten, with the homemade bread festival featuring wood-fired bread and typical Abruzzo products prepared by the Pro Loco. The event, organized by the Laccio d'Amore Cultural Association, offered free admission and was accessible to people with disabilities.
