Edition 2025 — Mario Lanza Festival

In 2025, the International Mario Lanza Festival returned to Piazza Municipio in Filignano in the second half of August, continuing the long tradition of tributes to the Italian-American tenor. After the 34th edition in 2024, dedicated to the artist's centenary, the 2025 edition also brought great opera to the town in Isernia.

The 2025 edition renewed the summer appointment with international opera in Filignano (province of Isernia), in Piazza Municipio. The festival, organized by the Mario Lanza Association chaired by Michel Rongione, confirms year after year the bond between the Molise village and the figure of the celebrated tenor, with concert evenings and renowned voices accompanied by a live orchestra.

Programme

The 2025 evenings followed the festival's established formula: opera concerts in Piazza Municipio with solo voices and orchestra, in the spirit of homage to Mario Lanza. The 34th edition in 2024 had featured, among other things, the show "Puccini and His Women" (dramaturgy by Vito Cesaro) with the direction of Maestro Leonardo Quadrini and the International Orchestra of Campania.
