International Festival for Gender Equality

The inaugural edition of the festival laid the groundwork for an event that has since grown rapidly. In May 2025, for three days, Perugia hosted panels, author meetings, and cultural initiatives dedicated to gender equality, with a preview in Foligno that anticipated the main event, registering excellent participation. The cultural direction of Giuseppina Bonerba and the collaboration with the University of Perugia immediately defined the festival's identity: a dialogue between the city, the university, schools, and the world of work on the theme of gender equality.

The first edition, spread over three days in the center of Perugia and preceded by a preview in Foligno, featured thematic panels, author meetings, and cultural initiatives on gender equality. The success of this edition led to doubling the number of days and expanding to university departments in the 2026 edition.
