Edition 2025 — Bose Orthodox Spirituality Conference
Anthony the Great, father of monks
The 31st edition of the conference, held at the Bose Monastery from September 2 to 5, 2025, was dedicated to Saint Anthony the Great, considered the father of monks. The proceedings opened on the morning of September 2 with an address by Brother Sabino Chialà, prior of Bose, and illustrated the saint's historical context, biographical data, and the themes of his teaching through his Life, Letters, and Apophthegms.
Speakers included scholars such as Alberto Camplani, Ewa Wipszycka, Andrew Cain, Samuel Rubenson, Eirini Artemi, and many others. On the afternoon of September 4, the traditional session of shared text reading in language groups (Italian, English, French, Greek, and Russian) took place. The conclusions were entrusted to Father Michel Van Parys.
