Edition 2025 — Cooperation Festival

The 9th edition of the International Cooperation Festival took place from October 11th to 19th, 2025, between San Vito dei Normanni and Ostuni, with the theme "International cooperation and the future of global institutions." Nine days of photography exhibitions, conferences, school meetings, and performances, promoted by AIFO and RIDS, focusing on human rights, disability, conviviality, and peacebuilding.

9th edition: rights, inclusion, and the future of global institutions

The ninth edition of the International Cooperation Festival was held from October 11th to 19th, 2025 between San Vito dei Normanni and Ostuni, structured around four main themes: memory and testimony, rights and disability, conviviality, and peacebuilding.

The festival opened on October 11th at Casa Carbotti in San Vito dei Normanni with the vernissage of the photography exhibition Migrants in the Mediterranean by photojournalist Marcello Carrozzo, which was later also set up in the Exhibition Hall of the Municipal Library of Ostuni. Key events included: the presentation of the 2025 Amman-Berlin Declaration on disability, conferences on the rights of people with disabilities, the "Convivialism to cooperate" meeting at the "L. Pepe" Scientific High School, and the signing of the collaboration pact between Ostuni, San Vito dei Normanni, and the Ukrainian town of Kobleve. There was no shortage of festive moments, such as the performance of the flag-wavers in Piazza della Libertà and the Mediterranean Dinner organized by the Carovigno Hotel Management Institute. All events were free of charge.

  • 17:30 - Library Auditorium: conference "The rights of people with disabilities in the local area"

October 16 - Ostuni

  • 17:00 - "L. Pepe" Scientific High School: meeting "Convivialism to cooperate"

October 17 - Ostuni

  • 17:00 - BCC Ostuni: signing of the collaboration pact between Ostuni, San Vito dei Normanni, and Kobleve (Ukraine)
  • 20:00 - Mediterranean Dinner at the Carovigno Hotel Management Institute

October 18 - San Vito dei Normanni

  • 10:30 - Casa Carbotti: meeting "The UN, what future?"

October 18-19 - Brindisi

  • Piazza Duomo: participation in the Alzheimer Fest
