International Competition for Piano and Orchestra City of Cantù

The 2025 edition of the International Competition for Piano and Orchestra City of Cantù took place at the Teatro Fumagalli, reprising the formula that distinguishes this event: the presence of a live orchestra even in the elimination rounds and the division into two sections dedicated to the classical and romantic-20th-century repertoire.

Young performers from numerous countries competed before an international jury, in a city — Cantù, in the province of Como — that has made piano music one of its distinctive cultural traits for over thirty years.
