Edition 2025 — Marcellina Choral Festival
The 44th edition
The 2025 edition of the festival was held on Saturday, June 7 at 7:00 PM in the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Monte Dominici, in Marcellina, in the province of Rome. The event was promoted by the Corale Polifonica Marcellinense, directed by maestro Giuseppe Valeriani, with president Claudio Olivieri, and enjoyed the patronage and support of the Lazio Region.
The guest choir
The star of the evening was the Coro Polifonico Monte Cusna from Reggio Emilia, directed by maestro Alessandro Marzani, which presented pieces of sacred polyphony and, above all, folk song motifs from the Emilian and Apennine tradition. Admission was free, as is customary for the festival.
A year of anniversaries
2025 was a special year for the Marcellina choir: in addition to the June festival, the association celebrated its fiftieth anniversary with a dedicated concert in the parish church of Cristo Re.
