Edition 2025 — IAM Festival

The 23rd edition of the International Academy of Music Festival took place from June 28 to July 12, 2025, with 24 classical and jazz concerts in Garfagnana. The opening at the Rocca Ariostesca paid tribute to Ludovico Ariosto with La Compagnia del Madrigale, followed by major symphonic works and international jazz in the valley villages.

The 23rd edition of the International Academy of Music Festival featured 24 concerts from June 28 to July 12, 2025, across Castelnuovo di Garfagnana and the valley municipalities. The opening at the Rocca Ariostesca celebrated the poet Ludovico Ariosto with La Compagnia del Madrigale. Highlights included the Orchestra Cupiditas performing Beethoven's Symphony No. 6 "Pastoral" and Rachmaninov's Concerto No. 2 at the Teatro Alfieri, Latin jazz by the Alta Madera Trio in San Romano in Garfagnana, and numerous concerts by Academy faculty and students, upholding the festival's traditional artistic direction.
