Edition 2025 — InChiostri

InChiostri officially originates in Recanati with its first edition in March 2026: in 2025, the festival of independent publishing and illustration had not yet taken place. The project, conceived by Giaconi Editore, took shape during this period, with the aim of bringing a new event dedicated to books, illustration, and artisanal knowledge to the historic cloisters of the Leopardi city, intertwined with Recanati's poetic vocation.

Towards the birth of InChiostri

In 2025, InChiostri had not yet taken place: the festival debuted in Recanati (MC) only in March 2026. During this period, the project, promoted by Giaconi Editore, was taking shape, with the idea of enhancing the historic cloisters of the city — Sant'Agostino, Palazzo Venieri, and the World Center of Poetry — as spaces for encounters between independent publishing, illustration, and the reading public.

The initiative is part of the rich cultural landscape of Recanati and the Marche region, a city symbolic of Italian poetry thanks to Giacomo Leopardi, and looks to quality small and medium-sized publishing as a heritage to be told and brought to life.
